Quality

Ensuring quality throughout the organisation is extremely important to us. It’s a culture we have built into our company philosophy - high quality staff, services and facilities, in fact the whole package. This is why we have our own onsite Teaching Care Centre the results of which can be seen in awards our nurses and care practitioners have won.

From the beginning Mario and Gill laid the foundations of quality – in standards of care, accommodation and staff training. As a consequence it was 15 years ago that Pendine Park became the first nursing home in UK to achieve BS5750 (now ISO9002 2008).

When we were inspected we were delighted with the response. The inspectors said "it is evident that the housekeeping in all Homes is to an excellent standard”.

All our staff have been through a rigorous recruitment process including a full Criminal Records Bureau check. It is our policy to register our qualified care practitioners with the Care Council for Wales and our qualified nurses with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.

At Pendine Park we are a ‘caring for people’ business and when we deliver high quality standards across the board it helps our residents feel good and their families are reassured that their loved ones are in safe hands.
