Jamie Smith
Came on our First Aid Course wanting to learn to care for people in an emergency. He really enjoyed the practical aspect of the course and thought the trainer was well informed. He has not had to use the skills he learnt to date to deal with an emergency feels confident to do so if he had to. |

Nesta Yorke Liked the fact that the interaction between the trainer and the delegates was friendly and relaxed on our Moving and Handling Course. She says she now feels more confident using equipment and is better able to support other care team members in its use as well as monitor compliance. |

Marion Dudley
Has gained confidence from knowing she is doing things the right way as a Modern apprentice level 3. She feels you are never too old to learn new skills and that the course has opened doors for her. She is now supporting people in the community and wants to go on and do a foundation degree. She said the end of the course was like reading a good book and knowing it was coming to any end. So we hope she enjoys the next chapter of her learning! She was delighted to be a Silver Winner at Wales Care Awards 2009 for Excellence in mental health catagory. |

Ceri Smith
Is one of our Foundation Modern Apprentice Level 2 candidates who wants to gain experience to move forward within her career and work towards level 3. She says she had an excellent assessor who made learning easy and interesting and that she is putting skills learnt into practice to benefit clients and colleagues. She was delighted to be a Bronze Award Winner (Newcomer category) at Wales Care Awards 2009 |

Laura Watkins Came on our Customer Care Course to get a better understanding of how to relate to customers and how to deal with difficult situations. The trainer helped give her confidence when using the phone and she thought the course was informal, friendly and well organised. She says she learnt a lot of transferable skills for her day job and now smiles when she answers the phone. |

Victoria Jacobs Wanted to achieve more confidence in her role as a Care Practitioner and achieved this by completing the Medication Course. She now knows how to store, administer and dispose of medication safely and responsibly. And she is happy that she can now promote peoples independence by administering their medication in clients own home. She really enjoyed the friendly environment on the course and because there were not many people on the course it was easier to communicate with fellow Carers. |

Pam Fox Did CIEH Food Hygiene Level 2 to help her keep food safe during preparation. She enjoyed the discussions with other delegates and although she didn’t enjoy the exam, she passed and is now enjoying putting safe practices into action! |

Sandhya Simon Is one of our Modern Apprenticeship Level 3 candidates who wants to increase her knowledge in health and social care to further her career. She likes researching theories about communicating with dementia clients and says it has made her more aware of their needs. She is enjoying the course and says her assessor is always on hand to assist and support her when needed. |
